Lewis, Bill

By profession Bill Lewis was a policeman but he was also an avid amateur horn player in the Nottingham Symphony Orchjestra. He was also an enthusiastic member of a horn group set up by Peter Bateman in Cossington which continues to this day (2024). Bill conducted the Nottingham Police Band for many years and, along with Peter Bateman, made several arrangments for horn ensemble.
