Wedlock, James
Born in Cambridge and a graduate of the London College of Music, James is a film & TV composer based in London.
James began his musical career with aspirations of becoming a professional guitarist. However, he soon began to show a keen interest in composition, with a special focus on incidental music. James studied Music Composition under the tutelage of Simon Rigby, where he completed a number of works for multiple ensembles, most notably a rhapsody in 4 movements for full orchestra. Whilst studying, he developed his proficiency in writing music for the moving image, leading to a collaboration on multiple projects at the Met Film School in London.
Since then, he has become known in particular for his modal style and light touch with the orchestra and varying chamber music combinations.
